About Us
Emily, a 29-year-old freelance graphic designer and lifelong animal lover, founded EpicFindsDaily in early 2024 after rescuing an orange tabby named Momo from a Los Angeles shelter.
Before Momo arrived, she already shared her home with Kitsu—the spirited Shiba Inu who could destroy most “durable” toys in under five minutes.
Between Kitsu’s strength and Momo’s picky personality, Emily quickly realized something: the pet industry was overflowing with cheap plastics, loud colors, low-quality fabrics, and products that simply didn’t respect the animals we love.
So she decided to build what she couldn’t find.
After her client work each night, Emily immersed herself in materials and sketches—researching non-toxic fabrics, drawing minimalist yet functional designs, and reaching out to small, family-run workshops across South Korea, Portugal, and the American Midwest. Dozens of prototypes traveled back and forth.
Kitsu became the durability tester.
Momo became the comfort inspector.
If either one rejected a product, Emily went back to the drawing board.
In March 2024, EpicFindsDaily launched its first small-batch collection: hand-felted cloud beds, solid walnut scratchers, and matte ceramic drinking fountains. The entire drop sold out in 47 seconds to her 120k Instagram followers.
Today, EpicFindsDaily remains intentionally small—just 12–15 hero products at a time, each limited to 99 pieces, never mass-produced, never restocked, always made in collaboration with skilled makers.
Every item must still pass the Momo & Kitsu Standard:
safe, beautiful, durable, and genuinely enriching to a pet’s life.
Because the love our pets give us every single day is epic—
and the care we give them should be too.
